Gold Finish Necklace with Recycled Fabric Beads
- SKU:NANK200
- Availability: Immediately available
Made from the small offcuts of different fabrics sourced from all over India which are recycled into handmade beads, this necklace has been lovingly handmade by women in urban villages in India. The recycled colourful beads and gold toned pendant compliment eachother wonderfully, resulting in a beautiful unique piece of jewellery that hangs just perfectly. Nickel Free Handmade in India Please note due to the handmade and recycled nature of this product the colours and fabrics used will vary. Lovingly produced by a company founded in 2003 by a young socially motivated entrepreneur named Shaina. Her vision was to help women in urban villages with low incomes who needed to work from home. Their mission statement is "To empower women by providing fair wages and creating beautiful, handmade, high quality and unique accessories". Their creative young designers bring flair and sketch up new lines. The company helps to support the education of women in their group and also provide monetary support for medical emergencies when needed. Small offcuts of different fabrics from all over India are recycled into handmade beads.
