Sophie the White Stork

High up in the sky, between the cotton candy clouds, you can find the Bird family soaring through the air. Their bright, colourful feathers make them look like tiny traveling rainbows. Sometimes, they also come down to the tops of the leafy roofs of the rainforest to rest and look over their Furry Forest friends. Not all members of the Bird family like to fly. Frederico the Flamingo, for instance, prefers balancing in the clear waters while Toto the Toucan rather rests on his favourite branch. Sophie the White Stork is the mom of the group. Her long legs and wings never stay still for too long as she’s always running around after her relatives making sure they don’t get into any kind of trouble. She would love it if they all just stayed perfectly still and safe! The family’s chitter chatter fills the day until the evening falls. Then their twittering fades as they all cuddle up in a bunch and fall quiet for the night.
